THC Compound info
THANKS TO THE 2018 FARM BILL HEMP IS LEGAL AT THE FEDERAL LEVEL, LEADING US TO BE ABLE TO CULTIVATE THESE CANNABINOIDS FROM HEMP PLANTS.
CATCH A BUZZ WITH:
DELTA 8, DELTA 9, DELTA 10, DELTA 11, THC-A, THCJD, THCX, THC-B, THC-H, THC-M, PHC, HHC
GET MEDICATED WITH:
CBD, CBG, CBN, DELTA 6, THC-P, THC-V
NOTES
- DELTA 8 & DELTA 9 HAVE A 5-CARBON SIDE CHAIN
- CB1 RECEPTOR REGULATES NEUROTRANSMISSION
- CB2 RECEPTOR REGULATES IMMUNE & INFLAMMATORY PATHWAYS
- CBG, CBN & CBD ARE NON PSYCHOACTIVE
DELTA 6: LESS POTENT THAN D9, SIMILAR TO D10. SEEN TO BE UPLIFTING & ENERGIZING. ANTI-INFLAMMATORY, ANTI-NAUSEA, APPETITE STIMULANT & PAIN RELIEF.
DELTA 8: A NATURALLY OCCURING CANNABINOID, DERIVED FROM HEMP & CBD IT IS ESSENTIALLY A MIDDLE GROUND BETWEEN HEMP, CBD & DELTA 9. IT IS FOUND TO BE ABOUT HALF AS POTENT AS DELTA 9.
DELTA 9: IS LEGAL SO LONG AS THE PRODUCT CARRIES LESS THAN 0.3% BY WEIGHT. IT IS DERIVED FROM HEMP PLANTS RATHER THAN THE CANNABIS PLANT ITSELF. DELTA 9 WILL INCREASE YOUR APPETITE, SUPPRESS NAUSEA, AND GIVE YOU A HEAVY BODY “HIGH”.
DELTA 10: NATIVE TO THE HEMP PLANT, DELTA 10 IS VERY SIMILAR TO DELTA 8 IN THE WAY IT IS MADE AND ITS EFFECTS. THC IS EXTRACTED FROM THE HEMP PLANT AND THEN DELTA 10 IS ISOLATED AND TURNED INTO A DISTILLATE.
DELTA 11: WHEN OUR BODY BREAKS DOWN D9 & D8 AFTER EDIBLE CONSUMPTION IT TURNS IT INTO D11. SCIENTIST HAVE FOUND A WAY TO ISOLATE D11 AND PUT IT INTO EDIBLES FOR A FASTER ACTING EFFECT (15-30MINS)
Delta 9o: PROCESSED SIMILARLY TO THC-0, FOUND TO BE MORE POTENT THAN REGULAR DELTA9. POWERFUL PHYSICAL AND MENTAL EFFECTS, MAY LAST LONGER THAN DELTA9 AS WELL.
THC-V: DERIVED FROM A TYPE OF CBG CANNABINOID, GIVING IT MORE MEDICINAL PROPERTIES. THC-V MAY SUPPRESS YOUR APPETITE AND WHEN CONSUMED IN SMALL DOSES IT MAY NOT EVEN PRODUCE A “HIGH”.
THC-P: FOUND TO 33 TIMES AS POTENT AS REGULAR THC. THC-P CAN ALLEVIATE PAIN AND NAUSEA, IT’S ALSO BEEN FOUND TO PROMOTE SLEEP. THC-P IS DERIVED FROM CBG-A “THE MOTHER CANNABINOID”. CBG-A BECOMES THCPA, THEN WHEN THCPA IS HEATED IT BECOMES THC-P.
THC-B: CLOSELY RELATED TO DELTA 9 EXCEPT THC-B IS MORE BINDING TO THE CB1 RECEPTOR, MEANING IT WHILE GIVE YOU MORE OF A PSYCHOACTIVE EFFECT WITHOUT THE MENTAL CLOUDINESS.
PHC: SIMILAR EFFECTS TO D9. BECOMES 99% THC ONCE ABSORBED INTO BLOODSTREAM. CAN LAST UP TO 8HRS. MIND & BODY EXPERIENCE. HAS ANXIOLYTIC PROPERTIES.
THCM: MINIMAL RESEARCH AVAILABLE SINCE IT IS ONE OF THE NEWESTS VARIATIONS. THCM IS SAID TO BE 3 TIMES AS POTENT AS DELTA 8.
THCA: WHEN THCA IS HEATED TO A CERTAIN POINT IT WILL ESSENTIALLY TURN INTO D9. THCA IS ONE OF THE PRIMARY CANNABINOIDS. COULD HELP TREAT SEIZURES AND INFLAMMATION.
THCJD: SEEN TO BE MORE POTENT THAN D9, SINCE D9 HAS A 5-CARBON SIDECHAIN & THCJD HAS A 8-CARBON SIDECHAIN. EFFECTS CAN LAST 1-4HRS. EUPHORIA & RELAXATION.
THCX: SIMILAR EFFECTS TO THC-O BUT SINCE IT HAS A 4 CARBON CHAIN RATHER THAN A 2 CARBON CHAIN IT IS FASTER ACTING WITH DIFFERENT EUPHORIC EFFECTS. CAN ALSO BE SEEN AS SIMILAR TO D9.
THC-H: HAS A 6-CARBON SIDECHAIN WHEREAS REGULAR THC ONLY HAS A 5-CARBON SIDECHAIN. THE LONGER THE SIDECHAIN THE LONGER LASTING PSYCHOACTIVE EFFECTS YOU WILL HAVE.
HXC & HHC: EFFECTS ARE FOUND TO BE VERY SIMILAR TO DELTA 9 AND DELTA 8, A VERY EUPHORIC EXPERIENCE. IT IS GOOD TO NOTE THAT SOME PEOPLE ARE HIGHLY AFFECTED BY HHC AND OTHERS HAVE THE POSSIBILITY OF NOT FEELING IT AT ALL. HHC-O TENDS TO BE MORE POTENT THAN REGULAR HHC, GIVING YOU MORE OF AN INDICA-LIKE FEELING. MEANING IT IS MORE SEDATIVE.
H4-CBD: THIS IS THE HYDROGENATED VERSION OF CBD. IT IS SAID TO GIVE CBD SLIGHTLY MORE PSYCHOACTIVE EFFECTS. THE EFFECTS ARE SIMILAR TO A 2:1 CBD:THC PRODUCT. THIS COMPOUND IS GOOD IF YOU’D PREFER TO FEEL GOOD MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY WITHOUT GETTING SUPER STONED.
CBG-A: THE ACIDIC FORM OF CBG. CBG-A IS A HELPING HAND IN HOW WE GET COMPOUNDS LIKE CBG, THC-A & CBD-A. BOTH THC-9 AND CBD START AS CBG-A.
CBG: DERIVED FROM YOUNG CANNABIS PLANTS AS THEY CARRY MORE CBG THAN MATURED PLANTS. SOME STRAINS LIKE JACK FROST & SUPER GLUE ARE CULTIVATED TO HAVE A HIGHER CBG CONCENTRATE THAN OTHER STRAINS. CBG CONNECTS TO BOTH CB1 & CB2 RECEPTORS WHICH MAKES YOU FEEL MORE MOTIVATED. IT CAN ALSO ENHANCE PLEASURE, APPETITE & SLEEP EXPERIENCE. LASTLY IT ALLEVIATES PAINS.
CBN: WHEN THC COMPONENTS AGE IN A PLANT THEY THEN BEGIN TO BREAK DOWN, WHICH LEADS TO THE FORMATION OF CBN. WHICH MEANS CBN IN VERY LARGE DOSES CAN RESULT IN MILD PSYCHOACTIVE EFFECTS. CBN CAN BE USED AS A SLEEP AID, PAIN RELIEF AND IT EVEN HAS NEUROPROTECTIVE PROPERTIES. CBN & THC CONSUMED TOGETHER CAN LEAD TO HEAVY DROWSINESS.

All About Concentrates
*given the information you are about to read we do NOT suggest trying to make your own concentrates at home, this information is solely for educational purposes only
*extraction methods are performed by professionals
CDT: Stands for Cannabis Derived Terpenes. Terpenes are the shiny sticky crystals on the cannabis leaves and buds. Essentially this is where we get the flavor profile from.
Botanical derived terpenes: These terpenes come from non-cannabis plants. They tend to be a much cheaper way to add terpenes to cartridges. It’s essentially the same as getting terpenes from the cannabis plant. They give flavor, aroma, and effects to your cartridges.
Rosin and Resin: Resin is made through the process of using hydrocarbon or CO2 to extract. This wax tends to be more sticky and gooey. Live resin is frozen before the extraction process. This causes more terpenes to be preserved giving you more of the flavor and scents you desire. Rosin is made through only heat and pressure, typically in a rosin press. You can also find live rosin which is frozen first just like live resin.
Diamonds: After an extraction process has been completed the concentrate is then frozen to remove any impurities. You also end up losing terpenes and trichomes in this process. After freezing, certain chemicals are then added. Next the product is heated and pressure is applied to refine the concentrate even further. The last step is a process called chromatography.
Sugar Wax: This type of concentrate can be formed accidentally or intentionally. After extraction the product is then put through a process called nucleation which gives the concentrate its form. For sugar wax to naturally occur the product will have to have sat for some time, resulting in the lipids breaking down and separating from the product. This causes the concentrate to crystalize. This can also occur from condensation, contaminants or over agitation.
Sauce: Sauce is made through a solvent based extraction method designed specifically to preserve terpenes. Sauce sometimes ends up with crystalline structures (THCA) which would then classify as diamonds.
EXTRACTION METHODS
Butane: Liquid butane is heated and passed over the plant to extract cannabinoids and other plant compounds. The resulting product is then entered in a evaporation process which will remove the butane from the product. *Solvent
Co2: Liquid Co2 is used to extract cannabinoids, similar to butane the product must go under an evaporation process to get rid of the Co2. Co2, unlike butane, is seen to be non-toxic and is also more environmentally friendly. *Solvent
Ice Water: Plants are dunked in ice cold water freezing terpenes and other compounds which then fall to the bottom of the container. The contents are then sifted through a mesh screen, trichomes are then collected and used to create the wax.
Heat and Pressure: This process calls for a Rosin press or a high quality hair straightener. The plant has heat applied to it then the concentrates are squeezed out of it.
EXPLORING TERPENES
Terpenes are where we will receive flavor and minor effects from ingesting. All kinds of plants carry terpenes, leading there to be over 200 different kinds of them. Terpenes add effects to your buzz when combined with other plant compounds. In this section you will find information on some of the more well known terpenes.
Myrcene: Known to be one of the most common terpenes found in cannabis plants, it can also be found in mangos. Myrcene tends to have a more earthy or musky aroma, it can also have hints of citrus. As far as effects go this terpene is good for relaxation, sleep, reducing inflammation and even helping with chronic pain.
Strains: Mango Kush & White Widow
Limonene: A citrusy terpene found in cannabis, lemons, limes, oranges and grapefruits. Limonene happens to have many potential health benefits such as being an anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, antioxidant and antibacterial.
Strains: Super Lemon Haze, Sour Diesel, Durban Poison & Jack Herer
Pinene: This terpene has a pine-like aroma giving it the name “pinene”. It tends to exist in strains with a high THC content. Pinene can also be found in pine trees, rosemary, orange peels, basil and parsley. This terpene has anti-inflammatory properties and can also be used to help with respiratory issues.
Strains: Jack Herer, Blue Dream, Dutch Treat
Eucalyptol: aka cineole, is the primary terpene in the eucalyptus tree. This terpene has a fresh minty aroma and will give your body a cooling effect. It is found in strains with high levels of THC. Eucalyptol has been known to reduce pain and slow the growth of bacteria. The cooling effect this terpene has can reduce inflammation and bring you relaxation.
Strains: Super Lemon Haze & Girl Scout Cookies
Humulene: This terpene can be found in hops (a plant used to make beer), ginseng, sage, cloves, cannabis and black pepper. Past research has shown that this terpene could be used to reduce cancer cell growth. It has also been noted as an appetite suppressant, aiding weight loss. Humulene is also anti-inflammatory, a pain reliever and even combats bacteria.
Strains: Sour Diesel, Girl Scout Cookies, White Widow
Terpineol: This terpene has a sweet, floral aroma. It is known to have a calm relaxing effect, when mixed with other terpenes it can even give you a couch lock effect. It may even be good for reducing anxiety and depression.
Strains: OG Kush, White Widow, Jack Herer
Valencene: This terpene is known for its delightful and stimulating experience. It has a sweet citrus aroma with notes of oranges and grapefruits. Just like many other terpenes it is an anti-inflammatory, and has potential in helping combat cancer.
Strains: Pineapple Express & Tangie
Kratom
*information in this segment is gathered from kratom.org
*we would like to note that tom is an addictive substance
Kratom derives from a tropical evergreen tree within the coffee tree family. It is native to Thailand, Malaysia and other south asian countries. The plant is used for treating chronic pain, digestive issues and relieving certain withdrawal symptoms from pharmaceuticals. Kratom can also be used as a sleep aid and an energy boost depending on what strain you’re using and the dosage. It is said that lower doses have more of a stimulant effect whereas larger doses can be more sedative.
There are more than 50 different strains of kratom. Strains are first organized by the color of the veins in the leaf and then by the region in which it was cultivated. Some strains are even named after the shape of the leaf (elephant and horn).
Red strains are used for sleep and pain relief. Green strains are used for stimulation as well as relaxation. White strains are used for stimulating and euphoric effects. For some people white strains can be used to replace coffee, promoting concentration, focus and energy. Yellow strains are not naturally occurring, white strains will undergo a specific process which turns the veins in the leaf from white to yellow. Yellow strains can be very potent, producing euphoric and energetic experiences.
Maeng Da strains originate from Thailand, they tend to be more sedative. Bali strains are more relaxing and stimulating. Kratom grown in Indonesia (Indo strains) have the best environment possible to thrive in. 95% of the world’s tom supply comes from Indonesia. Horn kratom is rare and only found in Borneo, it tends to be very potent with sedative and stimulating effects. Elephant kratom is thought to promote brain function and physical stamina. Hulu kratom is grown in a specific region of Indonesia where the soil is considered sacred. It is grown by the Kapuas River. Hulu is only offered in green and red strains. Green Hulu is both sedative and stimulating whereas Red is more sedative.
We have found that kratom is definitely something that should be experimented with to find the strains and dosages that are right for you. If you are just starting out, Red Maeng Da and Green Hulu are both good places to start. As far as dosages go, anything less than 2 grams is a microdose. 2-6 grams is a low dose. 6 grams is a high dose. Anything over 8 grams is a heavy dose. Most capsules translate to 1 gram each.
Here you will find a link to a dosage guide as well as a calculator based on your body weight.

Kratom Extracts
Kratom Extracts come in two different forms: liquid extracts and powder extracts. Extracts are made from crushing and boiling the leaves. To make liquid extracts they are then mixed with certain liquids such as vegetable glycerin and other herbal extracts. Liquid extracts are far more potent than powder extracts and standard powder. Liquid extracts are known to have almost immediate effects.
There are many different blends of extracts. One of the most popular being Gold Reserve extract. Full Spectrum Extracts are good for stimulation because they are made from white vein tom. Full Spectrum Maeng Da is very potent, it takes 60 grams of maeng da to make 1 gram of extract.
